Spectators: 7700 (Terracing: 5775, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 154) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Máté Kardos got the match started through his kick off. Wooden Legs FC's Zoltán Grosics got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Attila Szántó hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Wooden Legs FC's Soma Káposztás tried to score from far away in the 6th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Márió Bósa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adorján Erdei during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Adorján Erdei kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 13th minute of the match Márk Kozák sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kristóf Márton skillfully saved the ball. Kristóf Márton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Máté Kardos in the 15th minute of play. If Zoltán Grosics had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Alex's Csanád Tokaji got control of the ball when Zoltán Grosics tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 29 minutes, János Pálffy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wooden Legs FC and the Alex players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute, János Pálffy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute Ferdinánd Szegh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristóf Márton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kristóf Márton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Máté Kardos's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Ferdinánd Szegh struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Kristóf Márton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alex. Wooden Legs FC's Kristóf Márton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leó Kardos in the 44th minute of play. In the 47thth minute of the game Márió Bósa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alex's Csanád Tokaji was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Márió Bósa to strike the kick off in the second half. Wooden Legs FC's Kristóf Márton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Wooden Legs FC from getting a goal against them. Ferdinánd Szegh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kristóf Márton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Máté Kardos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Zoltán Grosics had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 66 minutes, Zoltán Grosics managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wooden Legs FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zoltán Grosics was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zoltán Grosics received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Csanád Tokaji tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Alex's zone, Márió Bósa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Csanád Tokaji came out of the goal and Márió Bósa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Máté Kardos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristóf Márton having to interfere. Ferdinánd Szegh could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Kristóf Márton made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Márió Bósa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wooden Legs FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Márió Bósa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Csanád Tokaji breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute, Zoltán Grosics ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Csanád Tokaji was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Attila Szántó received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Kristóf Márton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Wooden Legs FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Alex had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
