Mihály Szikoras short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Richárd Gácsi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Leeds's Mihály Szikora in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Himod VSC's goalie prevented a goal. The referee showed Máté Szekeres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 23 minutes into the game, one of Leeds:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Vilmos Iványi walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Brúnó Hajdú charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brúnó Hajdú the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Leeds booed when Himod VSC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brúnó Hajdú didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mihály Szikora came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Leeds fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mihály Szikora couldn't finish the play. With his leg Richárd Gácsi managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Leeds's Mihály Szikora fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Himod VSC's Richárd Gácsi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Himod VSC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihály Szikora in the 46th minute of play forced Himod VSC's goalkeeper Richárd Gácsi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The wind increased when János Gyárfás made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Himod VSC's goalkeeper Richárd Gácsi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Márton Petres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vilmos Iványi during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Himod VSC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Vilmos Iványi hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Himod VSC's Balázs Joó got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After 74 minutes, Brúnó Kiprich mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Himod VSC and the Leeds players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mihály Szikora in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Richárd Gácsi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Leeds's Gábor Kádár got a free kick in the 84th minute. The supporters of Leeds booed when Himod VSC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. József Petres didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90thth minute of the game Mihály Szikora who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Himod VSC's Richárd Gácsi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Brúnó Hajdú kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pál Benkó. That made the score 2-1 in the 94 minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Leeds players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
