Zalaszàntò SE's supporters rose to their feet, but Vilmos Berta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pete Neuss breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zalaszàntò SE's Miklós Cziráki got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pete Neuss was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vilmos Berta showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Villam Gepard FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zoltán Udvarhelyi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mihály Szegh kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Benedek Kozma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Elek Szalai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, András Balogh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute Gusztáv Benedek suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 47 minutes into the game, András Balogh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zalaszàntò SE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villam Gepard FC the free kick. A collision led to Zalaszàntò SE getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Villam Gepard FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zoltán Udvarhelyi was slow to take the kick. During this time Zalaszàntò SE's players had a chance to rest. Elek Szalai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ádám Tunyogi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zoltán Rákosi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Elek Szalai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute Miklós Cziráki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pete Neuss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Géza Péter kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Géza Péter during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Villam Gepard FC booed when Zalaszàntò SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Géza Péter didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Zalaszàntò SE's Elek Szalai got control of the ball when Zoltán Rákosi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Zalaszàntò SE support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
