Gusztáv Szőke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lukács Hidegkúti having to interfere. Gusztáv Szőke might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lukács Hidegkúti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gusztáv Szőke ran back to his position shaking his head. Domonkos Benedek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denis Olteanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Tibor Virág fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Olteanu having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Domonkos Benedek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pest Brawlers's supporters rose to their feet, but Domonkos Benedek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Olteanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 27 minutes of play, Pest Brawlers's Domonkos Benedek made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Denis Olteanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Denis Olteanu made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Domonkos Benedek sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Dániel Pál's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lukács Hidegkúti was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Domonkos Benedek struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Denis Olteanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pest Brawlers. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Tibor Virág made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Domonkos Benedek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Pest Brawlers getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Domonkos Benedek hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Domonkos Benedek fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. If Tibor Virág had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denis Olteanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domonkos Benedek, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Domonkos Benedek in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denis Olteanu saved Szentendre FC from getting behind. Denis Olteanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domonkos Benedek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denis Olteanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tibor Virág's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Domonkos Benedek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Denis Olteanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Szentendre FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
