Seating: 1846, VIP seats: 160) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Zoltán Kuncz made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the match, Szalafõ's goal looked a bit too open when Zoltán Kuncz came free, but Pál Kis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Lak booed when Szalafõ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebestyén Szuper didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pál Kis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zoltán Kuncz in the 11th minute of the match. Zoltán Kuncz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pál Kis having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Tibor Sári got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Lak booed when Szalafõ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gusztáv Borsó didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lak's Zoltán Kuncz got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Zoltán Kuncz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gábor Torma during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gábor Torma hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Lak's Levente Lévai got control of the ball when Norbert Mayer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lak's Gábor Torma got his second yellow card of the match in the 32nd minute. The referee ordered Gábor Torma off the ground. Gábor Torma kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. If Bertalan Győrffy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tibor Sári fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pál Kis having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Lak's Imre Kántor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pál Kis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gusztáv Borsó made a kick off. Levente Lévai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristóf Szőnyi in the 55th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Lak's Tibor Sári sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pál Kis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 62 minutes, Viktor Hegedűs mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Szalafõ and the Lak players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Szalafõ getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Viktor Hegedűs hit a great ball. Tibor Sári recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Károly Bánhegyi fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lak's protests and gave Károly Bánhegyi a yellow card for diving instead. After 66 played minutes Lak got a freekick which was hit by Károly Bánhegyi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristóf Szőnyi in the 69th minute of play forced Lak's goalkeeper Levente Lévai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Levente Lévai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gusztáv Borsó, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The long shot by Gáspár Bartha in the 75th minute really tested Pál Kis's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Szalafõ's Pál Kis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tibor Sári in the 82nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Szalafõ's zone, Bertalan Győrffy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pál Kis came out of the goal and Bertalan Győrffy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bertalan Győrffy struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Pál Kis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lak. Pál Kis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Imre Kántor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Imre Kántor scored 0-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pál Kis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bertalan Győrffy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Pál Kis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Lak booed when Szalafõ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viktor Hegedűs didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Lak getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Bertalan Győrffy hit a great ball. Lak played a much better game than Szalafõ and deserved their victory. The Szalafõ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
