The Szalafõ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Gumersindo Ricoy took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pál Kis. Pál Kis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Ali Asım Suhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Asım Suhan got free with Pál Kis in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gusztáv Borsó in the 23rd minute of play forced Nagytótfalu's goalkeeper Bahri Akboy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Viktor Hegedűs cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Bahri Akboy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Ali Asım Suhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carl Månsson during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 41 minutes of play, Nagytótfalu's Handi Salgado made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pál Kis was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th minute Gumersindo Ricoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pál Kis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.
