Spectators: 7980 (Terracing: 5986, Seating: 1835, VIP seats: 159) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Miklós Benkó took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Antal Molnár got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pál Kis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miklós Benkó in the 4th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Szalafõ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! Domonkos Honti shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 8th minute Miklós Benkó shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pál Kis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Szalafõ's goalkeeper Pál Kis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 10 played minutes Szalafõ got a freekick which was hit by Kristóf Szőnyi. When Vasas FC's Antal Molnár in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Szalafõ's goalie prevented a goal. In the 41st minute, Domonkos Honti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pál Kis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Frigyes Sárkány's late challenge caught a Vasas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frigyes Sárkány helped the player get up and apologised. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gusztáv Borsó stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pál Kis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Molnár in the 55th minute of the match. If Antal Molnár had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th match minute, Szalafõ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Hegedűs to maneuver through the defense. Zsolt Kaiser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Pál Kis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Antal Molnár took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Pál Kis to make any attempt to save it. 65 minutes into the match, Vasas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Mayer came free, but Olivér Bögi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 minutes of play, Szalafõ's Gusztáv Borsó made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olivér Bögi was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Gusztáv Borsó in the 75th minute of play forced Vasas FC's goalkeeper Olivér Bögi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olivér Bögi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gusztáv Borsó in the 79th minute of play. When Miklós Benkó came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Vasas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miklós Benkó couldn't finish the play. Antal Molnár could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Pál Kis made a huge save. The Vasas FC fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Vasas FC's Dániel Kurucz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vasas FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
