Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE's Alex Zádori started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Gedeon Fenyves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Gunners FC defense, Gedeon Fenyves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miklós Dénes. The Gunners FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miklós Dénes should have stopped the shot. Csaba Nyitrai might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miklós Dénes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Csaba Nyitrai ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 13th minute, Levente Pucheli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE's Gedeon Fenyves got a free kick in the 16th minute. Gunners FC's Miklós Dénes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gedeon Fenyves in the 18th minute of play. After 23 minutes, Boldizsár Benczur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gunners FC and the Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gunners FC's Boldizsár Benczur got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute Levente Pucheli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miklós Dénes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miklós Dénes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gedeon Fenyves, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Gedeon Fenyves took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miklós Dénes. Miklós Dénes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gedeon Fenyves in the 30th minute of play forced Gunners FC's goalkeeper Miklós Dénes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Levente Pucheli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 33 minutes, Gedeon Fenyves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gedeon Fenyves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Zádori in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miklós Dénes saved Gunners FC from getting behind. Gunners FC's Miklós Dénes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Levente Pucheli in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Alex Zádori ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miklós Dénes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Gunners FC's zone, Levente Pucheli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miklós Dénes came out of the goal and Levente Pucheli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miklós Dénes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Zádori in the 42nd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Barnabás Barabás made a kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gunners FC's goalkeeper Miklós Dénes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 53rd minute of the match Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE got a corner. Gunners FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alex Zádori ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alex Zádori made a great header on Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE's corner, it was just that Gunners FC's Miklós Dénes managed to reach the ball for a save. Alex Zádori could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Miklós Dénes made a huge save. Miklós Dénes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gedeon Fenyves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute, Gunners FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alex Zádori fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Károly Szepesvári managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE's supporters rose to their feet, but Károly Szepesvári was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miklós Dénes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gunners FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Gedeon Fenyves scored to the left of an out of position Miklós Dénes, making the score, 0-4. 65 minutes into the game, Alex Zádori cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Miklós Dénes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alex Zádori scored 0-6 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miklós Dénes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 79th minute, Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE's Alex Zádori ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Miklós Dénes. Miklós Dénes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Alex Zádori recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the game, Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE's Gedeon Fenyves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miklós Dénes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Alex Zádori got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Miklós Dénes was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Gedeon Fenyves capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gedeon Fenyves really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE's Alex Zádori got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Gunners FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
