The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ferenc Péter during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 4 played minutes Kétpó got a freekick which was hit by Ferenc Péter. Levente Balla was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 7 minutes into the match. Levente Balla kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Bruce Lee got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. János Csorba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Norbert Szakács tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruce Lee took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Norbert Szakács. Norbert Szakács dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 19 minutes into the game, János Csorba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Norbert Szakács was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Krisztián Fábián kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. János Csorba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Norbert Szakács tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norbert Szakács acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 34th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Lukács Kántor. In the 36th minute, Kálmán Berkes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute Kálmán Berkes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zakariás Majer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Zagyvarékas KLK booed when Kétpó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferenc Péter didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Kálmán Berkes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zakariás Majer. Zagyvarékas KLK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kálmán Berkes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zsolt Tóth made a kick off. Zsolt Tóth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zakariás Majer having to interfere. Zakariás Majer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zsolt Tóth, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Zagyvarékas KLK's goal looked a bit too open when Kálmán Berkes came free, but Zakariás Majer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kálmán Berkes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Zakariás Majer made a huge save. When János Csorba came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Zagyvarékas KLK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that János Csorba couldn't finish the play. János Csorba struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Norbert Szakács didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zagyvarékas KLK. Zsolt Tóth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 67 played minutes Kétpó got a freekick which was hit by Zsolt Tóth. A collision led to Kétpó getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Botond Kutas hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Imre Újfalussy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zagyvarékas KLK's supporters rose to their feet, but Imre Újfalussy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norbert Szakács breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. János Csorba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Norbert Szakács tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. János Csorba charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed János Csorba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Zagyvarékas KLK getting a freekick after 80 minutes play.
