After some careless play in the Crangeat defense, Serge Tête kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erwann Lebrun. The Crangeat fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erwann Lebrun should have stopped the shot. Xavier Lavalette's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erwann Lebrun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute Arnold Martens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Carre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Crangeat getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Cheikh Agier hit a great ball. Xavier Lavalette recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 19 minutes, Serge Tête made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Crangeat's Erwann Lebrun tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Ernest Teboul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute Serge Tête shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erwann Lebrun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Crangeat's Cheikh Agier got a free kick in the 28th minute. Erwann Lebrun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier Lavalette in the 29th minute of the match. Erwann Lebrun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serge Tête, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Serge Tête fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erwann Lebrun having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Crangeat's goal looked a bit too open when Serge Tête came free, but Erwann Lebrun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serge Tête sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute Xavier Lavalette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erwann Lebrun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnold Martens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Benjamin Carre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Arnold Martens reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benjamin Carre. The goal made the score 1-2. After the first half Rozérieulles were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Xavier Lavalette managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rozérieulles's supporters rose to their feet, but Xavier Lavalette was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erwann Lebrun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th match minute, Rozérieulles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serge Tête to maneuver through the defense. After 73 played minutes Crangeat got a freekick which was hit by Evan Boulot. Sébastien Vandenberghe took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Erwann Lebrun. Crangeat's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Crangeat's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sébastien Vandenberghe was slow to take the kick. During this time Rozérieulles's players had a chance to rest. Erwann Lebrun made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Xavier Lavalette sent off a good shot on target. 80 minutes into the game, Grégoire Millon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Crangeat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rozérieulles the free kick. In the 80th match minute, Crangeat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grégoire Millon to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Rozérieulles walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
