Seating: 1836, VIP seats: 150) Impériaux's Faouzi Estève started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Maurice Bazin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamza Fredon having to interfere. Hamza Fredon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Hénaux in the 6th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Impériaux's Faouzi Estève got a free kick in the 7th minute. When Erwin Guinand fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Impériaux's protests and gave Erwin Guinand a yellow card for diving instead. Erwin Guinand kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. If Faouzi Estève had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgard Thouvenot took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pierre Casagrande. Belberaud's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faouzi Estève in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pierre Casagrande prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Belberaud's zone, Faouzi Estève stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pierre Casagrande came out of the goal and Faouzi Estève tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Impériaux were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valentin Hénaux to strike the kick off in the second half. Francis Fesquet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erwin Guinand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francis Fesquet's late challenge caught a Belberaud's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francis Fesquet helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Impériaux's Francis Fesquet got a free kick in the 73rd minute. If Erwin Guinand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Impériaux's Faouzi Estève in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Belberaud's Pierre Casagrande proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Belberaud from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute Faouzi Estève shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre Casagrande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stanislas Berges struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Pierre Casagrande didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Impériaux. Faouzi Estève fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre Casagrande having to interfere.
