Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Boris Gourlay kicked off to start the match. Mehdi Vallier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin Schreiber having to interfere. When Mehdi Vallier came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the massïlia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mehdi Vallier couldn't finish the play. Benjamin Tissot charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benjamin Tissot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Franklin Schreiber made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raymond Mazel in the 18th minute. 0-1 became the score in the 21st minute when Boris Gourlay elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Sylvain Picaut kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Mehdi Vallier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, massïlia's Noa Mony got a free kick in the 34th minute. Boris Gourlay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 38 played minutes Sorbiers 1908 F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Stéphane Lemasson. If Raymond Mazel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sorbiers 1908 F.C.'s Franklin Schreiber proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Sorbiers 1908 F.C. from getting a goal against them. Raymond Mazel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Franklin Schreiber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mehdi Vallier made a kick off. Franklin Schreiber came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by massïlia's Raymond Mazel. But to his dismay, Raymond Mazel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 64th minute, Ramzi Guyonvarch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The massïlia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. When Raymond Mazel came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the massïlia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raymond Mazel couldn't finish the play. Boris Gourlay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 77 played minutes Sorbiers 1908 F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Charlie Scheer. 79 minutes into the game, Stéphane Lemasson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sorbiers 1908 F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave massïlia the free kick. Stéphane Lemasson hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the massïlia defense, Boris Gourlay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jean-Yves Dordain. The massïlia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jean-Yves Dordain should have stopped the shot. After 91 minutes of play Sorbiers 1908 F.C.'s Stéphane Lemasson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 91st match minute, Sorbiers 1908 F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stéphane Lemasson to maneuver through the defense.
