Sidney Thevenot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 15th minute, Romuald Roesch made a precise shot to the right of Sidney Thevenot. Perrach's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Émilien Giraudo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bixente Poujol came out and tried to block the shot, but Émilien Giraudo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 18th minute. Sidney Thevenot came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Corbier's Alphonse Kermarrec. But to his dismay, Alphonse Kermarrec quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Alphonse Kermarrec struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Sidney Thevenot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corbier. When Jules Canivet fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Perrach's protests and gave Jules Canivet a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, Jules Canivet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jean-Cyrille Schmid fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Sidney Thevenot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romuald Roesch, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 38 played minutes Perrach got a freekick which was hit by Jean-Yves Cozette. A collision led to Corbier getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Pierre-Louis Ramette hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alphonse Kermarrec to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Romuald Roesch recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sidney Thevenot. Romuald Roesch showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. Romuald Roeschs short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Sidney Thevenot to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 65th match minute, Corbier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Ibanez to maneuver through the defense. Jérémy Bauchet's late challenge caught a Perrach's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jérémy Bauchet helped the player get up and apologised. Jérémy Bauchet kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Biguet in the 69th minute of play forced Corbier's goalkeeper Bixente Poujol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sidney Thevenot made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Romuald Roesch sent off a good shot on target. Sidney Thevenot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alphonse Kermarrec in the 73rd minute of the match. Sidney Thevenot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amine Doche in the 75th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Amine Doche notched a goal, 1-8, to the right of Perrach's Sidney Thevenot. Sidney Thevenot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sidney Thevenot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Amine Doche came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Corbier fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amine Doche couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd minute, Jean-Cyrille Schmid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute of the match Corbier got a corner. Perrach's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alphonse Kermarrec ran over to the corner to take the kick. Corbier played a much better game than Perrach and deserved their victory. The Perrach players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
