Evan Edon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Evan Guilmin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Pierrick Soyer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evan Edon was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pierrick Soyer to make the kick off. If Marc-Aurèle Pene had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evan Guilmin struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Evan Edon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SERBANNE. Evan Edon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pierrick Soyer's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. A collision led to Fontain getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Clem Chevet hit a great ball. Pierrick Soyer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Evan Guilmin came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the SERBANNE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evan Guilmin couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pierrick Soyer in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evan Edon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute Pierrick Soyer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evan Edon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of SERBANNE booed when Fontain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mickaël Dez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salim Breuil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Arthur Debord managed to get in a good position for a shot. SERBANNE's supporters rose to their feet, but Arthur Debord was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evan Edon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pierrick Soyer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Evan Edon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evan Guilmin took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evan Edon. Evan Edon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. SERBANNE walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
