Grégory Chaboud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarod Hatte having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Redouane Ledig made a precise shot to the right of Jarod Hatte. Arequipe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Noël Chamayou had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jarod Hatte. Arequipe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Noël Chamayou was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Jarod Hatte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Redouane Ledig, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Redouane Ledig managed to get in a good position for a shot. With an all-out effort, Arequipe's Sabri Bony threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jean-Marc Hayot, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grégory Chaboud in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jarod Hatte saved Arequipe from getting behind. If Redouane Ledig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grégory Chaboud in the 35th minute of play forced Arequipe's goalkeeper Jarod Hatte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jarod Hatte came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Étoile du Sud's Redouane Ledig. But to his dismay, Redouane Ledig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Noël Chamayou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarod Hatte having to interfere. After 41 minutes of play, Étoile du Sud's Redouane Ledig made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jarod Hatte was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jarod Hatte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Redouane Ledig's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. In the 46thth minute of the game Noël Chamayou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arequipe's Jarod Hatte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jarod Hatte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grégory Chaboud, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

Étoile du Sud's Romeo Guillevic was substituted for Grégory Chaboud. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Redouane Ledig was the one to do the kick off. Redouane Ledig took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jarod Hatte. Jarod Hatte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. 57 minutes into the match, Redouane Ledig notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Arequipe's Jarod Hatte. Jarod Hatte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vivien Weill in the 66th minute of play forced Étoile du Sud's goalkeeper Sabri Bony to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes in the game, Noël Chamayou fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jarod Hatte having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, Redouane Ledig cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Jarod Hatte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Redouane Ledig's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jarod Hatte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Noël Chamayou dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jarod Hatte, 1-8. Jarod Hatte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Redouane Ledig in the 86th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Arequipe's goalkeeper Jarod Hatte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romeo Guillevic. In the 97th minute, Redouane Ledig reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jarod Hatte. The goal made the score 1-9.
