With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yvan Servant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Achille Roumier took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Yvan Servant. Jerphagnon FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 9th minute, Pierre-Henri Devin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A throw-in in the 13th minute of the game was made by Jean-Charles Dru with Joseph Seret as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 15 played minutes Modane Gare FC got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Sidoro. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Eleuterio Sidoro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Modane Gare FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eleuterio Sidoro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yvan Servant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Jerphagnon FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Constantin Vernay hit a great ball. Achille Roumier kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Antoine Gayet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Modane Gare FC's Eleuterio Sidoro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. With a little luck, Jerphagnon FC's Yvan Servant got control of the ball when Madjid Bouville tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Modane Gare FC's Eleuterio Sidoro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Yvan Servant. That made the score 2-1 after 40 minutes of play. After 44 played minutes Modane Gare FC got a freekick which was hit by Michaël Bauer. The supporters of Jerphagnon FC booed when Modane Gare FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sacha Gautron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pierre-Henri Devin might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jarod Conan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pierre-Henri Devin ran back to his position shaking his head.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eleuterio Sidoro to strike the kick off in the second half. Eleuterio Sidoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, Eleuterio Sidoro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yvan Servant. Jerphagnon FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eleuterio Sidoro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 66th match minute, Jerphagnon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul-Henri Journe to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleuterio Sidoro in the 79th minute of play forced Jerphagnon FC's goalkeeper Yvan Servant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerphagnon FC's Yvan Servant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleuterio Sidoro in the 84th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Modane Gare FC had won after a very even match.
