When Josselin Astier came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Cantenay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josselin Astier couldn't finish the play. Couchey's Émilien Vitte got his second yellow card of the match in the 64th minute. The referee ordered Émilien Vitte off the ground. Couchey's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bakary Moquet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 94th minute, one of Couchey:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Couchey. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cantenay had played much better football throughout.
