Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ognyan Klyashev started the match with the kick off. If Dominique Boinet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dominique Boinet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Bertil Gudmundsson made a huge save. After some careless play in the Lombardie defense, Pierre-Emmanuel Gallou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mourad Grégoire. The Lombardie fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mourad Grégoire should have stopped the shot. In the 14th minute, Ognyan Klyashev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mourad Grégoire was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Antonello Costantini blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mourad Grégoire having to make a save. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Ognyan Klyashev sped through Lombardie's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mourad Grégoire. In the 24th minute, Ognyan Klyashev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Laurent Baptiste had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bertil Gudmundsson. Football Wizards 59's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laurent Baptiste was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. When Lombardie's Dominique Boinet in 32 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Bertil Gudmundsson guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Bertil Gudmundsson made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Dominique Boinet sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Lombardie getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Octave Carrion hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laurent Baptiste got free with Bertil Gudmundsson in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bertil Gudmundsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurent Baptiste in the 42nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ognyan Klyashev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mourad Grégoire was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. 47 minutes into the game, Pierre-Emmanuel Gallou cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Mourad Grégoire was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Football Wizards 59 made a substitution. Gilles Jeanroy replaced Pierre-Emmanuel Gallou. The Lombardie players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Football Wizards 59 were winning 1-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Laurent Baptiste was the one to do the kick off. Bertil Gudmundsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurent Baptiste in the 54th minute of play. When Antonello Costantini fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Football Wizards 59's protests and gave Antonello Costantini a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Football Wizards 59 getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Antonello Costantini hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Football Wizards 59's zone, Dominique Boinet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertil Gudmundsson came out of the goal and Dominique Boinet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st match minute, Football Wizards 59 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aziz Fourny to maneuver through the defense. Mourad Grégoire stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ognyan Klyashev's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Antonello Costantini kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Lucas Havet's late challenge caught a Football Wizards 59's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucas Havet helped the player get up and apologised. Lucas Havet hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Football Wizards 59's Antonello Costantini got his second yellow card of the match in the 70th minute. The referee ordered Antonello Costantini off the ground. After a rather tough play, Football Wizards 59's Antonello Costantini got a free kick in the 71st minute. Football Wizards 59 made a substitution. Alexandros Gomatos replaced Ognyan Klyashev. Football Wizards 59's Bertil Gudmundsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominique Boinet in the 73rd minute of play. Lombardie were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Football Wizards 59's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Laurent Baptiste took the corner. Octave Carrion hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Bertil Gudmundsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominique Boinet in the 80th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Laurent Baptiste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertil Gudmundsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th match minute, Lombardie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octave Carrion to maneuver through the defense. Mourad Grégoire took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandros Gomatos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mourad Grégoire was a little too slow when Alexandros Gomatos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 1-6. Gilles Jeanroy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Mourad Grégoire made a huge save. Gilles Jeanroy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Lombardie fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Football Wizards 59 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
