An unexpectedly hard shot by Djimmy Bénard in the 13th minute of play forced Labbeville's goalkeeper Stéphane Lozano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabian Allo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Full Star FC's Ryan Georges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Djibril Barbieux in the 37th minute of play. In the 41st minute Jean-Philippe Debout shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stéphane Lozano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustave Parisse to make the kick off. Full Star FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.
