Bob Maurel scored 4-0 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anatole Peres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Allan Vester to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Alou Le Maux sped through meyzieu fc's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Charles Bernot. Anatole Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Vaille in the 60th minute of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Bob Chassard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. meyzieu fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bob Chassard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
