Bao Ponce didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Ariniz's Edgardo Noya broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Iban Pascual struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Pau Valines didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ariniz. 40 minutes into the match, Phimer's goal looked a bit too open when Iban Pascual came free, but Pau Valines reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pacorro Rivas charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pacorro Rivas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th match minute, Phimer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pacorro Rivas to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Iban Pascual made the kick off in the second half. Phimer's Pau Valines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cresenciano Yeste in the 56th minute of play. Pau Valines showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iban Pascual, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Ariniz's Cresenciano Yeste got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iban Pascual recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 79 played minutes, Ariniz's Romano Quijana shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pau Valines came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ariniz reached it. 85 minutes into the match, Ariniz's Iban Pascual sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pau Valines narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bao Ponce kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ariniz fully deserved thier win.
