After 18 minutes, Teofilo Titos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Simon Club and the Vilamea players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 19 played minutes Sporting Simon Club got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Titos. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Simon Club's zone, Henric Pujol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inocencio Cambero came out of the goal and Henric Pujol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henric Pujol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Inocencio Cambero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28thth minute of the game Henric Pujol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Simon Club's Inocencio Cambero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raymond Duran in the 30th minute of play forced Sporting Simon Club's goalkeeper Inocencio Cambero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, one of Sporting Simon Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sporting Simon Club. Sporting Simon Club:s Inocencio Cambero showed great skill when he stopped Bahiano Cabanela:s penalty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raymond Duran in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Inocencio Cambero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 36 played minutes Sporting Simon Club got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Titos. Inocencio Cambero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raymond Duran, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Henric Pujol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Inocencio Cambero having to make a save. Domenico Calderon hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Gitano Gibert kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raymond Duran in the 48th minute of play forced Sporting Simon Club's goalkeeper Inocencio Cambero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xosepe Montero was the one to do the kick off. Gumersindo Turienzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Candamil in the 52nd minute of play. If Arnoldo Candamil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henric Pujol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inocencio Cambero having to interfere. If Henric Pujol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 72nd minute, Raymond Duran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raymond Duran in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Inocencio Cambero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raymond Duran struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Inocencio Cambero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vilamea. Xosepe Montero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gumersindo Turienzo having to interfere. Sporting Simon Club's Inocencio Cambero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Simon Club from getting a goal against them. If Laureano Castaño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vilamea's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
