The audience was convinced that Bardo Bacete's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Octavio De Paula was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. After 13 played minutes Saci Perneta Futebol Club got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Morientes. After recieving a nice pass, Iturgoyen's Teobaldo Reyes tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Bardo Bacete received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Octavio De Paula tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sixto Roman fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Iturgoyen's protests and gave Sixto Roman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute, Sixto Roman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, Saci Perneta Futebol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Hori Lara came free, but Fermín Quijana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pietro Sainz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio De Paula having to interfere. Octavio De Paula made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pietro Sainz in the 34th minute of play. Saci Perneta Futebol Club's Bardo Bacete got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 37 minutes, Pietro Sainz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saci Perneta Futebol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pietro Sainz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bardo Bacete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio De Paula having to interfere. If Baldemar Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Saci Perneta Futebol Club's Turi Zaplana got a free kick in the 45th minute. Baldemar Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Fermín Quijana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Hori Lara made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Saci Perneta Futebol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Baldemar Velasco came free, but Fermín Quijana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baldemar Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute of the match Tomás Alonso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fermín Quijana showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Baldemar Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Turi Zaplana hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the match, Saci Perneta Futebol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Baldemar Velasco came free, but Fermín Quijana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Eugenio Morientes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Saci Perneta Futebol Club fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Saci Perneta Futebol Club's Bardo Bacete looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Saci Perneta Futebol Club played a much better game than Iturgoyen and deserved their victory. The Iturgoyen players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
