Leizarraga Turienzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipo Galego having to interfere. A collision led to PonteOurense getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Cheche Espinosa hit a great ball. A throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game was made by Lico Olmedo with Leizarraga Turienzo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Los Payos culeones 's Filipo Galego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Los Payos culeones from getting a goal against them. Eduardo Marines recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Marines in the 38th minute of play forced PonteOurense's goalkeeper Iker Sánchez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iker Sánchez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eduardo Marines went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Eduardo Marines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Sánchez having to interfere. Kostas Rodopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eduardo Marines was the one to do the kick off. Filipo Galego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinaldo Revuelta, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 53rd match minute, PonteOurense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leizarraga Turienzo to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Kostas Rodopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Payos culeones 's supporters rose to their feet, but Kostas Rodopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bermudo Vuelta struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Iker Sánchez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Payos culeones . Kostas Rodopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Iker Sánchez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iker Sánchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Marines in the 80th minute of play. Bermudo Vuelta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Sánchez having to interfere. PonteOurense's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Kostas Rodopoulos scored to the left of an out of position Iker Sánchez, making the score, 2-2. In the 90th minute, Kostas Rodopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Lico Olmedo fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PonteOurense's protests and gave Lico Olmedo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to PonteOurense getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Lico Olmedo hit a great ball. 95 minutes in the game Bermudo Vuelta after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Iker Sánchez. A very good opportunity.
