After 12 minutes Ribenmaister's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Barros Arribas who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Barros Arribas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ribenmaister's Tomás Baltanas did a great save. If Colon Obis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timar's Cordeal Castelao got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Timar's Saul Camaño suffered a sore thigh after 23 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Llorienzo Macho during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Llorienzo Macho kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. When Colon Obis came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Timar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Colon Obis couldn't finish the play. Orlan Aguado struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Nevada Saura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ribenmaister. Tomás Baltanas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Colon Obis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute Colon Obis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Baltanas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evangelista Lozano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Baltanas having to interfere.

Ribenmaister's Tomás Baltanas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Ribenmaister from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Colon Obis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Timar's supporters rose to their feet, but Colon Obis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Baltanas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aureo Abad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Ribenmaister booed when Timar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Castillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Despite being the better team, Ribenmaister failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
