Leonardo Font charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonardo Font the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th minute, one of Quins CD:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Quins CD. Quins CD:s Enrique Ziguenza showed great skill when he stopped Antonio Ferrer:s penalty. 9 minutes into the match, Quins CD's goal looked a bit too open when Ekain Reina came free, but Enrique Ziguenza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ekain Reina in the 11th minute of play forced Quins CD's goalkeeper Enrique Ziguenza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quins CD's Sinforiano Salgado got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Quins CD's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ekain Reina 25 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. 27 minutes into the match, A Insua CF's Ekain Reina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enrique Ziguenza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Araoz Marcos hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Quins CD's zone, Antonio Ferrer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Ziguenza came out of the goal and Antonio Ferrer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enrique Ziguenza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ekain Reina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xoan Rajoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Ziguenza having to interfere. Quins CD's Enrique Ziguenza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Quins CD from getting a goal against them. 40 minutes into the match, Quins CD's goal looked a bit too open when Ekain Reina came free, but Enrique Ziguenza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Madaleno Vacas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Madaleno Vacas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Enrique Ziguenza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Sinforiano Salgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Andrés-Fernando Gil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ekain Reina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Madaleno Vacas in the 61st minute of play forced Quins CD's goalkeeper Enrique Ziguenza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ekain Reina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ekain Reina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Madaleno Vacas in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enrique Ziguenza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Donzel Macías received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Andrés-Fernando Gil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Madaleno Vacas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Enrique Ziguenza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quins CD's Sinforiano Salgado was responsible for 2-1 with a brilliant performance in the 98th minute when he, by himself, got past the opponents defense and with a quick shot sent the ball into the goal to the left of Andrés-Fernando Gil. For all the effort they put into the match, the Quins CD players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for A Insua CF.
