Tuste Barral charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tuste Barral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th match minute, Doraemon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tuste Barral to maneuver through the defense. Ladislao Nunez struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Bitxintxo Cienfuegos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Doraemon. Bitxintxo Cienfuegos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmai Abajas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dalmai Abajas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dalmai Abajas struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Bitxintxo Cienfuegos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Doraemon. Ladislao Nunez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Bitxintxo Cienfuegos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pablo Folch hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After 51 minutes of play Doraemon's Tuste Barral was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of ATROFIATS FC booed when Doraemon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tuste Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacques Casillas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Arotza Etxeberria came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the ATROFIATS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arotza Etxeberria couldn't finish the play. Jonas Pareja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacques Casillas, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Jonas Pareja didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arotza Etxeberria went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Arotza Etxeberria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute Dalmai Abajas suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Mauricio Justo's late challenge caught a Doraemon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauricio Justo helped the player get up and apologised. When ATROFIATS FC's Arotza Etxeberria in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Doraemon's goalie prevented a goal.
