Eusebio Vallejo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerrold Duran having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Misael Armada in the 10th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Siro Idiaquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los pitufos del futbolín's supporters rose to their feet, but Siro Idiaquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anakoz Toxeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Misael Armada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anakoz Toxeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. If Siro Idiaquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerrold Duran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Vallejo in the 25th minute of play. Ramón Lozano hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Sagunto's Rencio Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eusebio Vallejo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaizkine Teruel during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Los pitufos del futbolín's Gaizkine Teruel got a free kick in the 31st minute. Anakoz Toxeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Misael Armada, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Los pitufos del futbolín's Misael Armada sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anakoz Toxeiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Los pitufos del futbolín booed when Sagunto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caitano Alarcon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anakoz Toxeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Misael Armada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the game, one of Sagunto:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eusebio Vallejo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th play minute Siro Idiaquez came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Anakoz Toxeiro. 2-2. Misael Armada received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anakoz Toxeiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Misael Armada slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 58th minute. Siro Idiaquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Misael Armada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claude Olano hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Siro Idiaquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Sagunto's Caitano Alarcon got a free kick in the 70th minute. Sagunto's Anakoz Toxeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Misael Armada in the 71st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Misael Armada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anakoz Toxeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eusebio Vallejo in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jerrold Duran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Silvano Acedo fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los pitufos del futbolín's protests and gave Silvano Acedo a yellow card for diving instead. After 82 minutes, Donzel Bouzas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los pitufos del futbolín and the Sagunto players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Los pitufos del futbolín! The referee gave Sagunto a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Julio Noya, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Los pitufos del futbolín's Jerrold Duran. 3-3. Anakoz Toxeiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Siro Idiaquez in the 95th minute. Rencio Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
