Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) ZATOIA RIVER's Jago Rajoi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, ZATOIA RIVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Zapatero to maneuver through the defense. After 11 played minutes SETA got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Saura. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Prudencio Santiago during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th match minute, SETA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prudencio Santiago to maneuver through the defense. Gilberto Arratia kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabon Martinez in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan-Alfredo Dulce saved ZATOIA RIVER from getting behind. In the 20th minute, Basilio Saura reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Juan-Alfredo Dulce. The goal made the score 1-0. Madaleno Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan-Alfredo Dulce having to make a save. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SETA! The audience thought a goal was coming when Madaleno Sancho got free with Juan-Alfredo Dulce in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Madaleno Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan-Alfredo Dulce. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Madaleno Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. When Basilio Saura came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the SETA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basilio Saura couldn't finish the play. If Prudencio Santiago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Prudencio Santiago managed to get in a good position for a shot. SETA's supporters rose to their feet, but Prudencio Santiago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan-Alfredo Dulce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juan-Alfredo Dulce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basilio Saura, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute, Jago Rajoi made a precise shot to the right of Desiderio Quintero. SETA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Madaleno Sancho to make the kick off. The SETA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Madaleno Sancho in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan-Alfredo Dulce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Prudencio Santiago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basilio Saura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Juan-Alfredo Dulce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to SETA getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Prudencio Santiago hit a great ball. Juan-Alfredo Dulce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Madaleno Sancho in the 84th minute of play. Madaleno Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan-Alfredo Dulce having to interfere. In the 98th minute Madaleno Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan-Alfredo Dulce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
