The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iustinian Codruț got free with Gilen Campomanes in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sarai FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Christian Vieri scored to the left of an out of position Gilen Campomanes, making the score, 1-0. In the 12th minute of the match, Christian Vieri got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gilen Campomanes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Salvador Reyes kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Chain's Khai Hian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jude Tram in the 19th minute of play. Gilen Campomanes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iustinian Codruț, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christian Vieri was the one to do the kick off. Gilen Campomanes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iustinian Codruț in the 51st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sarai FC's Severino Sergi got a free kick in the 52nd minute. The supporters of Sarai FC booed when Chain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Reyes didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Chain's Khai Hian got control of the ball when Izydor Polkoski tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Izydor Polkoski took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Khai Hian to make any attempt to save it. Lonzo Cainzos charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lonzo Cainzos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Sarai FC's zone, Iustinian Codruț stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilen Campomanes came out of the goal and Iustinian Codruț tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Khai Hian made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Izydor Polkoski sent off a good shot on target. When Christian Vieri came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Chain fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Vieri couldn't finish the play. 96 minutes into the game, Iustinian Codruț cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Gilen Campomanes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Many of Sarai FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Sarai FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Chain were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
