In the 13th minute Clodio Gil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Encina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romualdo Gibert in the 15th minute of play forced Estrella Roja Karabanchel's goalkeeper Sebastián Encina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Estrella Roja Karabanchel's Toribio Parra got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute Clodio Gil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Encina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Tierras UD's Erlantz Ramis got control of the ball when Paco Candela tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Tierras UD booed when Estrella Roja Karabanchel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mosen Gala didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Estrella Roja Karabanchel's goal looked a bit too open when Romualdo Gibert came free, but Sebastián Encina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paco Candela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jimeno Saez struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Sebastián Encina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tierras UD. Sebastián Encina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clodio Gil in the 44th minute of the match. Sebastián Encina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Saez in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clodio Gil to make the kick off. The supporters of Tierras UD booed when Estrella Roja Karabanchel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximino Ferrer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute, Romualdo Gibert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clodio Gil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastián Encina having to interfere. Paco Candela hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Romualdo Gibert's late challenge caught a Estrella Roja Karabanchel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romualdo Gibert helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th match minute, Tierras UD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romualdo Gibert to maneuver through the defense. Sebastián Encina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jimeno Saez in the 68th minute. Sebastián Encina was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Clodio Gil showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 76 minute of play. Sebastián Encina was a little too slow when Romualdo Gibert got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 1-3. If Clodio Gil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Crispo Fuster hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th match minute, Tierras UD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romualdo Gibert to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, Clodio Gil dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sebastián Encina, 1-5. When the final whistle sounded Tierras UD left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Estrella Roja Karabanchel.
