The supporters of los peques booed when La Torre de l Espanyol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Casas didn't get a good kick on the ball. los peques's Guillen Menendez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save los peques from getting a goal against them. If De-la-Cruz Arrascaeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the game, Edgard Yeste recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Guillen Menendez. Edgard Yeste showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgard Yeste in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guillen Menendez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 36 played minutes los peques got a freekick which was hit by Arnaitz Irureta. After some careless play in the los peques defense, De-la-Cruz Arrascaeta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guillen Menendez. The los peques fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guillen Menendez should have stopped the shot. Benjamin Uria got a throw-in 40 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Edgard Yeste. Fernando Casas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Guillen Menendez came out and tried to block the shot, but Fernando Casas slotted it home off the left post making it 6-1 in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnaitz Irureta to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Edgard Yeste notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of los peques's Guillen Menendez. Guillen Menendez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edgard Yeste scored 8-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guillen Menendez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Edgard Yeste's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guillen Menendez was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Karlos Clos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubio Fonticoba, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 74th minute, Edgard Yeste got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th minute De-la-Cruz Arrascaeta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillen Menendez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th match minute, los peques was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joey Alarcon to maneuver through the defense. Edgard Yeste scored 9-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guillen Menendez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86thth minute of the game Edgard Yeste who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but los peques's Guillen Menendez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edgard Yeste blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guillen Menendez having to make a save.
