Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Xesc Jimenez started the match with the kick off. In the 11th minute, Aranguiz Harroyo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Real sociedad booed when Alborania FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godofredo Jurado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Oriol Calvo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cordero Amer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arias Candamil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Xesc Jimenez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artemio Noya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xesc Jimenez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Artemio Noya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Troy Morientes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cordero Amer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Real sociedad's goalkeeper Artemio Noya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferman Rallo. Artemio Noya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xesc Jimenez in the 42nd minute of the match. Aranguiz Harroyo kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Real sociedad defense, Ferman Rallo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artemio Noya. The Real sociedad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artemio Noya should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cordero Amer was the one to do the kick off. Mino Alcaraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 minutes of play, Alborania FC's Ferman Rallo made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Artemio Noya was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 62 played minutes Real sociedad got a freekick which was hit by Aranguiz Harroyo. Artemio Noya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferman Rallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67thth minute of the game Ferman Rallo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real sociedad's Artemio Noya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Xesc Jimenez kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Real sociedad's Artemio Noya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xesc Jimenez in the 69th minute of play. Cordero Amer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arias Candamil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 77th minute, Xesc Jimenez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alborania FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The audience was convinced that Ferman Rallo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artemio Noya was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. In the 84th minute Ferman Rallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artemio Noya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xesc Jimenez in the 85th minute of play forced Real sociedad's goalkeeper Artemio Noya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Xesc Jimenez notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Real sociedad's Artemio Noya. Artemio Noya was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cordero Amer got free with Arias Candamil in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Real sociedad were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after Alborania FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adelio Alabern took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Adelio Alabern got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arias Candamil quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Alborania FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
