Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nerio Casado took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Bernardo Valverde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cordero Amer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Mundo Unzueta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Cordero Amer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th minute, Joan Salazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to El Pozo Del Esparto CD getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Aureo Huguet hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, El Pozo Del Esparto CD's Fabio Ucero got a free kick in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nerio Casado in the 18th minute of play forced Real sociedad's goalkeeper Artemio Noya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Goiz Solo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artemio Noya was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. The throw-in from Mino Alcaraz in the 23rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by El Pozo Del Esparto CD's Aureo Huguet. In the 27th minute Nerio Casado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artemio Noya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aranguiz Harroyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Mundo Unzueta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Nerio Casado managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Pozo Del Esparto CD's supporters rose to their feet, but Nerio Casado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artemio Noya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Artemio Noya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nerio Casado in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cordero Amer to strike the kick off in the second half. Cordero Amer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th match minute, Real sociedad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aranguiz Harroyo to maneuver through the defense. Artemio Noya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nerio Casado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 minutes of play, Real sociedad's Cordero Amer made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mundo Unzueta was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Aranguiz Harroyo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real sociedad's supporters rose to their feet, but Aranguiz Harroyo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mundo Unzueta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The attack was good, but when Goiz Solo in the 73rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Mundo Unzueta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Valverde in the 78th minute of play. Real sociedad's Cordero Amer got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 84 minutes, Cordeiro Aguilo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real sociedad and the El Pozo Del Esparto CD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 84 played minutes Real sociedad got a freekick which was hit by Cordeiro Aguilo. In the 85th minute, Nerio Casado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Pozo Del Esparto CD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Nerio Casado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Real sociedad were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
