Ferrando De Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 7th minute, Felipe Zapico made a precise shot to the right of Ferrando De Silva. Guinardo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ferrando De Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Zapico, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 17th minute, Boruc Szarmach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Severino Casta scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferrando De Silva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Felipe Zapico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ferrando De Silva having to make a save. José Velasco struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Ferrando De Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.D Murcia. José Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the match, Severino Casta notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Guinardo's Ferrando De Silva. Ferrando De Silva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 35 minutes into the match, Guinardo's goal looked a bit too open when José Velasco came free, but Ferrando De Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guinardo's Ferrando De Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xamin Encina in the 37th minute of play. If Felipe Zapico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 40 minutes into the match, Guinardo's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Zapico came free, but Ferrando De Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Severino Casta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferrando De Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Casta in the 43rd minute of play. Boruc Szarmach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ferrando De Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felipe Zapico was the one to do the kick off. Ferrando De Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Zapico in the 52nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Indar Mora managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.D Murcia's supporters rose to their feet, but Indar Mora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferrando De Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Justino Jorquera hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Ferrando De Silva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guinardo's goalkeeper Ferrando De Silva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When José Velasco came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the C.D Murcia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Velasco couldn't finish the play. Boruc Szarmach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Guinardo's Ferrando De Silva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Guinardo from getting a goal against them. Boruc Szarmach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guinardo's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Boruc Szarmach 81 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6. José Velasco in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ferrando De Silva, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ferrando De Silva came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by C.D Murcia's Felipe Zapico. But to his dismay, Felipe Zapico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. 89 minutes into the match, Guinardo's goal looked a bit too open when Boruc Szarmach came free, but Ferrando De Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Velasco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Ferrando De Silva made a huge save. With a little luck, Guinardo's Ferrando De Silva got control of the ball when José Velasco tried to sneak it across the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, José Velasco dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ferrando De Silva, 0-8.
