In the 24th minute of the match Machado Mas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mendebal Abancens showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mendebal Abancens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Espartaco Sánchez went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Lino Cuadrado charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lino Cuadrado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lino Cuadrado hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, Cristiano Ronaldo CF's goal looked a bit too open when Perico Bencoiechea came free, but Mendebal Abancens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Cristiano Ronaldo CF getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Naldo Grau hit a great ball. In the 56th match minute, Cristiano Ronaldo CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristobal Ledo to maneuver through the defense. Cristobal Ledo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cristobal Ledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leal Huguet in the 69th minute of play forced Palo Blanco AD's goalkeeper Bao Companys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Llanos Buenafuente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Bao Companys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Cristiano Ronaldo CF defense, Perico Bencoiechea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mendebal Abancens. The Cristiano Ronaldo CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mendebal Abancens should have stopped the shot. Cristiano Ronaldo CF's Mendebal Abancens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perico Bencoiechea in the 79th minute of play. Naldo Grau kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute of the match, Perico Bencoiechea tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mendebal Abancens saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
