Spectators: 7715 (Terracing: 5790, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Josu Arias made the kick off which started today's match. Altea's Oscar Rivera got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oscar Rivera struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Santo Herrera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Altea. Santo Herrera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabi Serrano went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 12 minutes into the match, Altea's goal looked a bit too open when Josu Arias came free, but Oto Baños reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oto Baños made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josu Arias in the 12th minute of play. Santo Herrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Rivera in the 13th minute of play. Etxeberri Hevia kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Oscar Rivera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Samuel Izaguirre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Santo Herrera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, La Gorgoracha CF's Santo Herrera got control of the ball when Gabi Serrano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Samuel Izaguirre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Santo Herrera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oto Baños showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josu Arias, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute, Saul Revuelta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santo Herrera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oscar Rivera in the 33rd minute. Samuel Izaguirre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, La Gorgoracha CF's Rufo Valverde got a free kick in the 38th minute. The long shot by Gabi Serrano in the 39th minute really tested Santo Herrera's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Gabi Serrano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Santo Herrera managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Altea's Oscar Rivera fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oscar Rivera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oto Baños made an important save on a dangerous shot by Torcuato Villar in the 51st minute. Samuel Izaguirre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Herrera having to interfere. Tonio Sainz kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd match minute, La Gorgoracha CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tito Uria to maneuver through the defense. Altea's Gabi Serrano got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Torcuato Villar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Oto Baños made a huge save. Josu Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samuel Izaguirre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Samuel Izaguirre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santo Herrera. La Gorgoracha CF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel Izaguirre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. If Samuel Izaguirre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the game, Samuel Izaguirre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Santo Herrera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the Altea players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
