Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ovidio Caminero started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the match, Espronceda's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Llorente came free, but Anxo Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Espronceda's zone, Roberto Llorente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anxo Moreira came out of the goal and Roberto Llorente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Flores in the 13th minute of play forced Sporting de Veles's goalkeeper Airas Campomanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Espronceda's zone, Gualterio Zubizarreta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anxo Moreira came out of the goal and Gualterio Zubizarreta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Tello Lagunas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Sporting de Veles's Ovidio Caminero got a free kick in the 25th minute. Anxo Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tello Lagunas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Espronceda's Anxo Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tello Lagunas in the 30th minute of play. Sporting de Veles's Tello Lagunas got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With 37 minutes on the clock, Jorge Gabas commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sporting de Veles! Roberto Llorente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Anxo Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Genaro Flores made a kick off. When Melchor Bueno came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Espronceda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melchor Bueno couldn't finish the play. Genaro Flores took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Airas Campomanes. Airas Campomanes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Roberto Llorente struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Anxo Moreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting de Veles. Anxo Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Zubizarreta, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Sporting de Veles's attentive Tello Lagunas managed to snatch the ball when Xoan Jurado made a throw-in in the 65th minute of the game. After having played for 66 minutes, Roberto Llorente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting de Veles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Llorente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Espronceda's zone, Gualterio Zubizarreta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anxo Moreira came out of the goal and Gualterio Zubizarreta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roberto Llorente could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Anxo Moreira made a huge save. Airas Campomanes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillerme Leyva in the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the game, Espronceda's Genaro Flores nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Airas Campomanes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Gualterio Zubizarreta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute of the match, Roberto Llorente got a very nice opportunity to score, but Anxo Moreira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Espronceda getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Behe Coya hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Sporting de Veles's Roberto Llorente dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. When Espronceda's Genaro Flores in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sporting de Veles's goalie prevented a goal.
