Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Moncada's Fe Incera started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Manolito Mora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garikoitz Vilanova having to interfere. After 8 played minutes Peñagrande S.D. got a freekick which was hit by Castel Manrique. Garikoitz Vilanova showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jago Morientes in the 9th minute of the match. Moncada's Abelardo Ecija proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Moncada from getting a goal against them. In the 24th match minute, Moncada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domenico Aznar to maneuver through the defense. Peñagrande S.D.'s Garikoitz Vilanova played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fe Incera in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Peñagrande S.D.'s Polifemo Infante nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abelardo Ecija made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After having played for 33 minutes, Jago Morientes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moncada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jago Morientes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Garikoitz Vilanova showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodor Zapata, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 42 minutes, Herminio Lama mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Peñagrande S.D. and the Moncada players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Peñagrande S.D.'s Herminio Lama got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Gergori Aznar hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mauro Rameriz to strike the kick off in the second half. Sol Cordoba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peñagrande S.D.'s Garikoitz Vilanova proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Peñagrande S.D. from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Moncada getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Teodor Zapata hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Sol Cordoba notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Moncada's Abelardo Ecija. Abelardo Ecija was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sol Cordoba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abelardo Ecija read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Peñagrande S.D.'s goalkeeper Garikoitz Vilanova had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jago Morientes. A collision led to Moncada getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Teodor Zapata hit a great ball. Polifemo Infante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Abelardo Ecija showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sol Cordoba, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. When the referee ended the match the Peñagrande S.D. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
