When Guillen Cardeñosa came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Bergara KE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillen Cardeñosa couldn't finish the play. Vistruario Echeto scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Virgilio Campos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kevin Feal's late challenge caught a At. Gilenense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kevin Feal helped the player get up and apologised. Gilen Rossello struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Virgilio Campos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bergara KE. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pelayo Rosario during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Bergara KE booed when At. Gilenense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pelayo Rosario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilenense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quentin Barrios to maneuver through the defense. In the 70thth minute of the game Gamus Viejo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bergara KE's Goi Pareja was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Goi Pareja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gamus Viejo, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Goi Pareja didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gamus Viejo went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Goi Pareja stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gamus Viejo's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. At. Gilenense's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Guillen Cardeñosa scored to the left of an out of position Virgilio Campos, making the score, 1-2. Bergara KE were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over At. Gilenense's much stronger midfield.
