William Gene did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Frantzes Castro 3 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute, CF Badalona's William Gene ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Frantzes Castro. Frantzes Castro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Sandamias FC's Edmundo Morales got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edmundo Morales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute Gorri Alvarez managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. After 23 played minutes Sandamias FC got a freekick which was hit by Machado Barrientos. A collision led to Sandamias FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Hassan Dulce hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, William Gene made a precise shot to the right of Frantzes Castro. Sandamias FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Sylwester Zabrzeski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Macías in the 34th minute of the match. Elpidio Cao hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when William Gene made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, William Gene put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Frantzes Castro. Frantzes Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rufo Mezquita in the 58th minute of the match. Sylwester Zabrzeski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Macías, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Morales got free with Sylwester Zabrzeski in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frantzes Castro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of William Gene's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, Sandamias FC's Machado Barrientos got a free kick in the 69th minute. CF Badalona made a substitution. Romualdo Erosa replaced Elpidio Cao. CF Badalona's Jose-Luis Alarcon was substituted for Rufo Mezquita. After 70 played minutes Sandamias FC got a freekick which was hit by Machado Barrientos. When Julio Macías came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Sandamias FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Macías couldn't finish the play. Julio Macías sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sylwester Zabrzeski made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Edmundo Morales sent off a good shot on target. Dario Diaz hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After 82 minutes, Nerio Aceves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CF Badalona and the Sandamias FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sylwester Zabrzeski made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Edmundo Morales sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers William Gene in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frantzes Castro saved Sandamias FC from getting behind. Julio Macías sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
