In the 29thth minute of the game Atilano Hernandez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leones de Montepinar's Natxo Pedrosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Senen Radaban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Natxo Pedrosa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 37 minutes Leones de Montepinar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joselito Mudarra who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Joselito Mudarra almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Leones de Montepinar's Natxo Pedrosa did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atilano Hernandez in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Natxo Pedrosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 45 minutes into the match, Leones de Montepinar's Eduardo Moreno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kasper Schmeichel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustavo Saez was the one to do the kick off. Leones de Montepinar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Atilano Hernandez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. When Liberto Pacheco fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leones de Montepinar's protests and gave Liberto Pacheco a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Leones de Montepinar's Liberto Pacheco got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The RUBIELOS DE MORA FC fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when RUBIELOS DE MORA FC's Atilano Hernandez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
