An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Bergada in the 21st minute of play forced Celtiña's goalkeeper Macario Hernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pinchón United F.C.'s Víctor Odín played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evrosi Marinkin in the 22nd minute of play. When Knut Abrahamsson came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Celtiña fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Knut Abrahamsson couldn't finish the play. Macario Hernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anakoz Aznar in the 32nd minute of the match.

Rolando Hernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Macario Hernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Knut Abrahamsson charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Knut Abrahamsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Celtiña getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Knut Abrahamsson hit a great ball. Evrosi Marinkin kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonzalo Bergada in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Macario Hernandez saved Celtiña from getting behind. In the 84th minute, Evrosi Marinkin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isauro Reina might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Macario Hernandez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isauro Reina ran back to his position shaking his head.
