Spectators: 6709 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jim Vennig started the match with the kick off. Kaj Tornslev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jon Tyrholm in the 4th minute of the match. With a little luck, Taarup's Kaj Tornslev got control of the ball when Lucas Munkdorf tried to sneak it across the goal line. Filip Parlø was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 7 minutes into the match. A collision led to Taarup getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Filip Parlø hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, GEDVED IF's Therkild Nolsø tried to score from far away in the 8th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Osbøl got free with Kaj Tornslev in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jaspar Wolmar charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaspar Wolmar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of GEDVED IF booed when Taarup was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaspar Wolmar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute of the match Therkild Nolsø shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kaj Tornslev showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Taarup's goal looked a bit too open when Jon Tyrholm came free, but Kaj Tornslev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jim Vennig in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Konrad Klein prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Osbøl in the 39th minute of play forced Taarup's goalkeeper Kaj Tornslev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, GEDVED IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ken Bønnelykke came free, but Konrad Klein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jon Tyrholm stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Lucas Munkdorf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaj Tornslev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Taarup's Jim Vennig sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Konrad Klein narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, GEDVED IF's Konrad Klein got control of the ball when Jim Vennig tried to sneak it across the goal line. Taarup's Paw Tillisch managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ronny Nomann in the 85 minute of the game. GEDVED IF's Konrad Klein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ken Bønnelykke in the 87th minute of play. Konrad Klein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ken Bønnelykke in the 92nd minute of play. The Taarup supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Taarup would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
