Spectators: 7382 (Terracing: 5538, Seating: 1697, VIP seats: 147) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Godtfred Leerhøy got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Mejdal GIK's goal looked a bit too open when Curt Brentegani came free, but Keld Malherbe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Schlenzig made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Ernst Desbo sent off a good shot on target. Curt Brentegani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernst Desbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Schlenzig having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Mejdal GIK's Godtfred Leerhøy ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind André Schlenzig. André Schlenzig yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. André Schlenzig was a little too slow when Godtfred Leerhøy got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester's zone, Ernst Desbo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Schlenzig came out of the goal and Ernst Desbo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernst Desbo got free with André Schlenzig in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 34 minutes into the match, Mejdal GIK's goal looked a bit too open when Leopold Atting came free, but Keld Malherbe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Sigismund Vegeberg came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Manchester fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sigismund Vegeberg couldn't finish the play. Leopold Atting received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Keld Malherbe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Manchester's goal looked a bit too open when Godtfred Leerhøy came free, but André Schlenzig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Manchester's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ernst Desbo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leopold Atting to make the kick off. If Godtfred Leerhøy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Godtfred Leerhøy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Schlenzig having to interfere. In the 58th match minute, Manchester was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harold Eieroff to maneuver through the defense. Valdemar Brynning's late challenge caught a Manchester's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valdemar Brynning helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Manchester getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Sigismund Vegeberg hit a great ball. After 75 minutes of play, Mejdal GIK's Ernst Desbo made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. André Schlenzig was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernst Desbo in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Schlenzig prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 93 minutes, Ernst Desbo made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Manchester's André Schlenzig tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Manchester players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mejdal GIK.
