Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gynther Nebo in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Taus Wackers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Aksel Kiaby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. Despite this Piotr Bringeby quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in Nyborg's zone, Harry Gejsing stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Piotr Bringeby came out of the goal and Harry Gejsing tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Piotr Bringeby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry Gejsing, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. When the referee ended the match the Sønderlev AC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
