The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olof Dixner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Holstebro Boldklub's Maurits Geilø played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olof Dixner in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olof Dixner in the 59th minute of play forced Holstebro Boldklub's goalkeeper Maurits Geilø to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Holstebro Boldklub's zone, Ejnar Arrild stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurits Geilø stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olof Dixner's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute, Ejnar Arrild made a precise shot to the right of Maurits Geilø. Holstebro Boldklub's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Ove Milsø managed to get in a good position for a shot. Holstebro Boldklub's supporters rose to their feet, but Ove Milsø was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Svedstrup's Povl Benson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Milsø in the 91st minute of play. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Holstebro Boldklub would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
