The wind increased when Ansgar Tarliong made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, one of brøndby if:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 94th minute Ansgar Tarliong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egon Rande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Many of brøndby if's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. brøndby if may have spent more time on the ball, but Revshammer FV were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
