Vagn Odsgard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertrand Fackmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Walder Koppel during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Skodborg SIK's goalkeeper Vagn Odsgard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vagn Odsgard came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Team Damascus's Torbjørn Fagerby. But to his dismay, Torbjørn Fagerby quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Boje Sommur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Højgaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A very good chance. Wilhelm Bøhrnsen hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Vagn Odsgard was out of position in the 48 minute of play, and Bertrand Fackmann capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bertrand Fackmann really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When Luis Højgaard came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Skodborg SIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Højgaard couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute Kenny Fevre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boje Sommur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Skodborg SIK booed when Team Damascus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. The Team Damascus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boje Sommur should have stopped the shot. Team Damascus were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
