Sigvart Thusholdt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute Eric Seltenov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jørg Windbækgaard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilleleje's Eric Seltenov got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abraham Hindenburg was a little too slow when Leo Trelborg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mikki Rafaelsen in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jørg Windbækgaard saved Chelsea Football Club from getting behind. Benjamin Ranslet hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Chelsea Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Seltenov came free, but Jørg Windbækgaard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mikki Rafaelsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chelsea Football Club's goalkeeper Jørg Windbækgaard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Mikki Rafaelsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pierre Gazette hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Matthias Børregaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abraham Hindenburg having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leo Trelborg to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Eric Seltenov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jørg Windbækgaard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Gilleleje's Eric Seltenov dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Vincent Vejlebo hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Abraham Hindenburg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthias Børregaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 64th minute, Matthias Børregaard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chelsea Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. If Matthias Børregaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, one of Gilleleje:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gilleleje. Sigvart Thusholdt charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sigvart Thusholdt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With his leg Jørg Windbækgaard managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Gilleleje's Mikki Rafaelsen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jørg Windbækgaard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Seltenov in the 88th minute of the match. Mikki Rafaelsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eric Seltenov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Jørg Windbækgaard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilleleje's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Chelsea Football Club had won, even though Gilleleje had held more of the ball.
